The food pantry is in special need of the following items:
Sugar, flour, canned fruits and vegetables, individual fruit cups for snacks, oatmeal, laundry soap, ketchup, tuna, spaghetti noodles, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and shampoo. No expired or opened items please.
While supplies last. Limit one string of lights and free gift per customer. Expired donations will not be accepted.
Always celebrate safely
Stoughton Utilities also wants customers to be aware of safe operating practices for all types of holiday lighting. To start, home and business owners should always remember to turn off tree and decorative lights, both indoors and outdoors. Control devices like motion sensors, timers and power strips are a great way to ensure decorative lights are off. With numerous types and brands of holiday lights available, it is also important to read safety and use directions carefully to ensure lights and decorations are used appropriately and for the intended and approved purpose.

Remember to follow these important electrical safety tips during the holidays!
