Public Power Customer Appreciation Event
Stoughton Utilities is celebrating Public Power by holding a Public Power Customer Appreciation Event in our office. Public Power Week is observed annually during the first full week of October, and celebrates the reliable, affordable electricity that publicly owned utilities provide to their communities. This year, Stoughton is celebrating its 127th anniversary as a Public Power Community!
Public Power puts the people of Stoughton first, and Public Power Week gives us the chance to celebrate the advantages of locally owned power with our citizens.
At our Customer Appreciation Event, which will be held in our office at 600 S Fourth St, October 8 - 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., utilities staff will be offering free energy efficient LED light bulbs to customers, as well as providing snacks and refreshments. Come meet your Stoughton Utilities staff and learn more about your community owned utility!
